After the last album "Humanoid" in 2009, the band released the "Best Of" the following year. Then silence. The Kaulitz twins have just moved to Los Angeles in 2010 while the other two members, bassist Georg Listing and drummer Gustav Schafer, are still in Germany.
The 24 year olds Bill and Tom Kaulitz took advantage of the warm California sun and to regenerate after a smashing success in 2005 erupted into practice with the album "Schrei", when they were just 16 years old.
