'Tokio Hotel' want this year's MTV Musical March Madness voting ' ( ' MMM ') again decide for themselves.

The band from [.....] was elected in 2012 in the biggest music award poll of fans in the U.S. on the first rank and referred the superstars of ' Metallica ', ' U2 ', ' Foo Fighters' and ' Linkin Park ' on the rear places - in 2013 gave it "only" for the top four .

To the four-piece pop- rock band , it had become rather quiet in the past. Only front man Bill Kaulitz and his twin brother , guitarist Tom Kaulitz, showed the jury of ' Germany sucht den Superstar ' ( ' DSDS ' ) to ' RTL ' on TV.

During their break, the band , which also includes bassist Georg Listing and drummer Gustav Schäfer belong , was extremely productive: soon to be followed by a new album.

The 24 -year-old front man told MTV News : '' This year is so exciting for us, we bring our new album and we want to win this award , because that will make the year even better .''

'Tokio Hotel' wollen die diesjährigen 'MTV Musical March Madness Votings' ('MMM') wieder für sich entscheiden. 

Die Band aus Sachsen-Anhalt wurde 2012 in der größten Musikpreis-Abstimmung von Fans in den USA auf den ersten Rang gewählt und verwies dabei die Superstars von 'Metallica', 'U2', 'Foo Fighters' und 'Linkin Park' auf die hinteren Plätze - 2013 reichte es "nur" für die Top vier.

Um die vierköpfigen Pop-Rock-Formation war es in vergangener Zeit ziemlich still geworden. Ausschließlich Frontmann Bill Kaulitz und sein Zwillingsbruder, Gitarrist Tom Kaulitz, zeigten sich in der Jury von 'Deutschland sucht den Superstar' ('DSDS') auf 'RTL' im Fernsehen.

Während ihrer Pause war die Band, zu der auch Bassist Georg Listing und Schlagzeuger Gustav Schäfer gehören, äußerst produktiv: schon bald soll ein neues Album folgen.

Der 24-jährige Frontmann erzählt 'MTV News': ''Dieses Jahr wird so aufregend für uns, wir bringen unser neues Album heraus und wir wollen diesen Preis auch gewinnen, weil das wird das Jahr noch besser machen.''
